The MECO CT SET C is a high-performance Flexible Current Transformer (CT) Set engineered to extend the capabilities of the MECO PHA 5850 Power & Harmonics Analyzer. The kit consists of three color-coded flexible AC current probes (R, Y, and B phases) that allow engineers to measure high AC currents safely without disconnecting live electrical circuits.
Designed with Rogowski coil technology, the flexible probes easily wrap around large cables, busbars, and conductors where conventional clamp meters cannot fit. The probes support 300 A and 3000 A AC measurement ranges, making them suitable for industrial plants, substations, switchgear panels, renewable energy systems, and commercial power distribution networks.
When connected to the MECO PHA 5850 Series Analyzer, the CT SET C enables comprehensive power quality analysis by measuring current, active power (kW), reactive power (kVAR), apparent power (kVA), power factor, frequency, energy consumption, phase angle, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and harmonics up to the 99th order. This allows maintenance engineers to identify overloads, harmonic distortion, power losses, and other electrical issues quickly and accurately.
The lightweight flexible probes feature a 24-inch (610 mm) measuring loop, allowing easy installation around oversized conductors in confined spaces. Their rugged construction ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial environments while maintaining excellent measurement accuracy. The long connection cables also provide added convenience during field measurements.
