Pidilite Fevicol SR 505 – 30 Ltr HVAC Synthetic Rubber Adhesive
Product Overview
Fevicol SR 505 HVAC is a high-performance synthetic rubber adhesive developed by Pidilite Industries. It is specially designed for strong and durable bonding applications in industries like insulation, HVAC, automotive, upholstery, and furniture manufacturing. This solvent-based adhesive provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces including metal, wood, foam, fabric, and rubber.
Key Features
Superior Bond Strength: Provides high initial tack and long-lasting adhesion, even under stress.
Quick Tack Formation: Dries quickly and forms a tacky surface within 15–30 seconds for rapid application.
Versatile Application: Ideal for bonding insulation materials, foam, leather, metal, plywood, and laminates.
Odour-Controlled Formula: Benzene-free and low odour, making it safer for use in enclosed or sensitive environments.
Resistant to Water and Temperature: Maintains strong bonds under exposure to moisture and heat.
Applications
HVAC & Insulation: Bonding insulation sheets like nitrile rubber, glass wool, and XLPE to ducts and pipes.
Furniture & Upholstery: Attaching foam, rexine, leather, and fabric to wood and other substrates.
Automotive: Used in car interior paneling, carpet bonding, and seat manufacturing.
General Industry: Suitable for bonding rubber, EVA, PVC, cork, coir, and other flexible materials.
How to Use
Surface Prep: Clean surfaces thoroughly; ensure they are dry, dust-free, and free from grease or oil.
Application: Stir well before use. Apply an even coat to both surfaces using a brush or spreader.
Drying Time: Allow solvent to evaporate (15–30 seconds) until the adhesive becomes tacky.
Bonding: Press both surfaces firmly together using uniform pressure.
Curing: Full strength is achieved after 24 hours.
